Kurimanka – Where the soul is also fed.
The grandparents of the Andes tell that, high in the mountains, there was a sacred pot made of pure gold called Kurimanka, capable of feeding both the body and the soul. The wise women cooked in it with love, and every dish became an act of unity, gratitude, and life.
That ancient magic traveled through time until it reached the hands of Zoila Morocho, an Ecuadorian woman who, as a child, discovered that cooking could be both a caress and a memory. She learned from a woman in her village who cooked like no one else and told stories about the legendary pot that turned simplicity into abundance.
With more than seventeen years of experience in the restaurant industry, Zoila returns with Kurimanka, not just as a restaurant, but as a legacy — a seed so her children, and those who come after, may carry a piece of Ecuador wherever they go. Here, tradition and creativity intertwine, ancestral recipes meet contemporary inspiration, and every dish becomes an offering of life and gratitude.
